We weren’t born podcasters. In fact, we were just two guys who had something to say—but no clue how to get our voices heard. As die-hard rugby fans, we wanted to bring raw, unfiltered discussions to the sport. We saw the power of video content but had zero interest in fumbling with cables, microphones, or editing software. Both of us faced the same brutal reality every new podcaster does:

• How do we make a podcast sound and look professional without spending thousands on equipment?
• Who’s actually going to listen?
• And how the hell do we keep this going without burning out?

We tried everything—the cheap mics, the noisy home setups, the painful editing marathons. We recorded episodes that sounded like they were broadcast from inside a tin can. We spent hours tweaking settings, only to release an episode that got a handful of downloads (mostly from our own devices). But we didn’t quit. Instead, we found a shortcut—a way to eliminate the technical headaches, make high-quality content effortlessly, and actually get noticed! And that’s when Urban Flux was born.
